Product Overview

The ATOMFAIR PBM-0.2S is a Glove Box Planetary Ball Mill specially designed for inert atmosphere grinding inside glove boxes, featuring PBM-0.2S 90W 0.2L 4-jar split design with a 50 mm jar holder inner diameter and Φ111 mm revolution diameter. The split design separates the compact main mill body (390 × 220 × 270 mm) for placement inside the glove box from the independent control box (200 × 180 × 240 mm) for external operation, enabling safe handling of oxygen and water sensitive materials. The sealing pressure of the grinding jars is adjustable via a graduated scale. Purpose-built for inert atmosphere grinding oxygen sensitive materials including lithium battery, rare earth, and metal powders, this machine delivers output particle sizes as fine as 0.1 μm from feed ≤3 mm. The independent external control box 48-hour operation provides power display, timing, and forward-reverse cycle switching with stepless speed regulation. Dry grinding, wet grinding, and vacuum inert atmosphere grinding modes are all supported. Two or four grinding jars can operate simultaneously. Grinding jars and grinding balls are ordered separately. The PBM series spans from 0.2 L mini models to 200 L production units.

48-Hour Continuous Operation with Programmable Control: 90W motor with stepless speed regulation, automatic timing for forward/reverse rotation, and automatic stop enables extended unattended grinding protocols.
Ultrafine Output Down to 0.1 μm with 4-Jar Configuration: Four 100 ml jars operating simultaneously at up to 1160 rpm deliver consistent sub-micron particle refinement for high-purity material research.

APPLICATION SCOPE: Inert atmosphere grinding of lithium battery electrode materials, rare earth magnetic powders, reactive metal powders, and other oxygen/water sensitive materials. Suitable for glove box operation in materials science, energy research, and advanced powder processing laboratories.

PACKAGING: The standard configuration includes 1 pc main grinding unit (glove box body), 1 pc independent external control box. Grinding jars (4 pcs of 100 ml) and grinding balls (1 set) are ordered separately. The PBM series is available from 0.2 L mini models through 200 L production units. Installation guidance and operational training support are provided upon request.
