Material Description

Copper foam is a new type of multifunctional material with a large number of connected or disconnected pores uniformly distributed in the copper matrix. The material has excellent electrical conductivity and ductility, with lower preparation costs than nickel foam. It can be used for battery negative electrode carrier materials, catalyst carriers and electromagnetic shielding materials. Copper foam has outstanding advantages when used as battery electrode matrix material, though its corrosion resistance is not as good as nickel, which somewhat limits its application scenarios.
