Atomfair-CTCD-7316 Coating & Drying System

Product Overview

This coating and drying system features precise constant tension control and supports two professional coating processes: extrusion coating and microgravure coating. It is equipped with a multi-section electric heating oven for efficient drying, with adjustable air volume and flexible gas treatment. The whole machine is designed with segmented tension and closed-loop control, ensuring stable and accurate coating for electrode substrates and other materials, and adapts to various slurry process requirements.

Core Working Principles & Features

Constant Tension Control

  • Set the machine running speed; the motor speed is adjusted according to the pendulum roller position to maintain constant tension.
  • The whole machine adopts segmented tension design: one pendulum roller is installed between two driving rollers, forming a closed-loop tension system with potentiometer and motor.

Extrusion Coating

  1. Slurry is delivered to the intermittent valve at a constant speed without interruption by a screw pump, and reaches the die head through the opening and closing of the intermittent valve.
  2. The slurry extruded from the die lip is coated on the electrode substrate, and the film is dried in a high-temperature oven.
  3. Coating length is controlled by the opening and closing time of the intermittent valve; slurry flows back to the storage tank during non-coating periods.

Microgravure Coating

  1. A closed material box is formed by material box, scraper, microgravure roller and material baffle.
  2. Peristaltic pump delivers slurry to the material box; the rotating microgravure roller carries the slurry, and the pressure roller makes the substrate contact the microgravure roller to transfer the coating to the substrate for continuous experimental coating.
  3. Coating width and thickness can be controlled by the mesh number of microgravure roller and the length of engraving lines.

Professional Drying System

  • The coated substrate is fed into the oven for drying with the material belt.
  • The oven adopts electric heating mode, and evaporates water or solvent through fan and hot air conduction.
  • Oven air nozzles support variable frequency control of fan speed to adjust air volume according to different slurry types.
  • Exhaust fan circulates or discharges the evaporated gas through pipelines.
