Atomfair Vacuum Deaeration & Mixing Machine Product Information

Model No.: Atomfair-VDM-518

This equipment is mainly used for removing bubbles from liquid or viscous materials. Through the combined action of a vacuum environment and a stirring device, it achieves uniform mixing and a bubble-free state of materials, thereby improving product quality and production efficiency.

Functional Features

Main Shaft: Adopts Swiss ASSAB S136 mirror mold steel, processed through multiple heat treatment procedures with an overall hardness of HRC 62. The entire shaft is ground, and the sealing surface is further mirror-ground to achieve a surface roughness of 0.02μm (mirror finish), featuring extremely low friction coefficient, superior wear resistance, minimal wear to the sealing ring, and ultra-long service life with high sealing performance.

Sealing Ring: Adopts high wear-resistant sealing rings from Bayer AG (Germany), which can withstand a linear speed of up to 40 m/s (the linear speed of our equipment is only 4 m/s at 2000 rpm) and a pressure of up to 20 kg/cm².

Vacuum Pump: Adopts a pump with forced oil circulation lubrication improved by internationally advanced technology, featuring excellent lubrication, low wear and long service life.

Gears: Adopts automotive spiral bevel gear structure, with stable operation, low noise and long service life.

Rotary Arm: Integral rotary arm, fully processed from imported American aerospace magnesium-aluminum alloy 7075, ensuring product precision and long-term stability. It has high interchangeability—rotary arms of the same model can be arbitrarily interchanged, facilitating easy maintenance.

This equipment requires a vacuum environment and specific operational parameters to ensure safe and effective mixing. Proper handling is critical to prevent mechanical failure or material contamination.

  • Operational Limits: The machine is designed for continuous operation up to 30 minutes by default, with a timer adjustable up to 9999 hours, but requires a cool-down period after extended use to prevent overheating.
  • Material Loading Constraint: Tanks must be filled to approximately 1/2 capacity for liquid materials and 2/3 capacity for paste materials to allow for proper mixing and deaeration.
  • Speed and Ratio Constraint: The revolution-to-rotation ratio is fixed at 1:1 and cannot be adjusted after production, limiting the mixing profiles available for different material viscosities.
  • Safety Interlock: The door lock induction safety electronic lock and emergency stop switch must be functional and engaged during operation to prevent access to moving parts.

This procedure outlines the safe and effective operation of the vacuum mixing machine, from initial setup to completion of the mixing cycle. Adherence to these steps ensures consistent results and prevents equipment damage.

Required Equipment: Atomfair-VDM-518 Vacuum Deaeration & Mixing Machine, Vacuum pump with forced oil circulation

  1. Prepare the materials
Load the liquid or paste materials into the two tanks, filling liquid to about 1/2 capacity and paste to about 2/3 capacity.
  2. Secure the tanks
Place the filled tanks onto the mixing stations, ensuring they are properly seated and locked into position.
  3. Set the mixing parameters
Use the 7-inch touch screen to input the desired revolution speed (200-2800 rpm), operation time, and vacuum time for each of the 5 program segments.
  4. Start the vacuum and mixing cycle
Close the safety door and engage the door lock, then start the program to initiate the vacuum and mixing process.
  5. Monitor the operation
Observe the machine during operation to ensure the materials are mixing uniformly and no abnormal vibrations or noises occur.
  6. Stop and unload
After the program completes, stop the machine, release the vacuum, and wait for the tanks to stop rotating before opening the door and removing the mixed materials.

What is the maximum processing capacity and recommended fill level for the Atomfair-VDM-518 vacuum deaeration and mixing machine?

The Atomfair-VDM-518 has a maximum tank capacity of 300 mL per tank, with two tanks providing a total capacity of 600 mL (or 300 g per tank, 600 g total). For optimal performance, fill liquid materials to about 1/2 capacity and paste materials to about 2/3 capacity, as the tanks are positioned at a 45° angle.

What are the speed and control capabilities of the Atomfair-VDM-518, and can the rotation ratio be adjusted?

The Atomfair-VDM-518 offers revolution and rotation speeds from 200 to 2800 rpm with 1 rpm precision, and the rotation direction can be set to forward or reverse. The revolution-to-rotation ratio is fixed at 1:1 and is not adjustable after production, but custom ratios or independent stepless speed regulation can be specified as an option.

What are the key material and safety specifications of the Atomfair-VDM-518 that affect its durability and operation?

The main shaft is made of Swiss ASSAB S136 mirror mold steel with a hardness of HRC 62 and a surface roughness of 0.02 μm, while the sealing rings are high-wear-resistant Bayer AG rings rated for up to 40 m/s linear speed and 20 kg/cm² pressure. The equipment includes safety features such as a door lock induction safety electronic lock and an emergency stop switch, and operates with a power rating of 1550 W (standby 50 W) at AC 220V/380V, 50-60Hz.

The Atomfair-VDM-518 vacuum deaeration and mixing machine combines a 200-2800 rpm stepless revolution/rotation drive with a 1:1 fixed ratio, a mirror-finished S136 shaft (HRC 62, 0.02 μm Ra), and Bayer sealing rings rated for 40 m/s, enabling bubble-free mixing of up to 600 mL (2×300 mL) of liquid or paste materials. Its 7-inch PLC touchscreen supports 5-segment programs with vacuum control, while the 45° tank angle and 1/2 to 2/3 fill guidance ensure process reliability, though the lack of integrated heating or cooling and the 30-minute default cycle limit certain applications unless customized.

Positive

  • High-precision shaft and sealing: The S136 mirror shaft (HRC 62, 0.02 μm Ra) and Bayer sealing rings (rated 40 m/s, 20 kg/cm²) ensure low friction, minimal wear, and reliable vacuum sealing, supporting long-term operation.
  • Flexible process control: The 7-inch PLC with 5-segment programs, 1-rpm speed precision, and forward/reverse rotation enables reproducible mixing and deaeration cycles, with customization options for heating (up to 300°C) or cooling (down to -40°C).

Trade-offs

  • No integrated thermal control: The standard unit lacks heating or cooling, requiring external temperature management or factory customization for temperature-sensitive materials.
  • Limited batch capacity and runtime: Maximum 600 mL per batch (2×300 mL tanks) and a default 30-minute continuous operation limit (extendable via customization) may constrain high-throughput or long-duration processes.
