Battery-grade carbon-coated copper foil is a lithium battery copper foil current collector with 4.5-18 μm base foil thickness and one-side or two-side carbon coating.

The water-based carbon coating is described with strong bonding to negative-electrode slurry, increased contact area, lower internal resistance and corrosion-resistant conductive performance.

Performance Features

  • Measured copper purity is at least 99.9% against a specification of at least 99.8%.
  • Copper base foil can be double-shiny, single-shiny or double-rough according to customization.
  • Carbon coating thickness is specified at ≥1 μm and can be customized.
  • Measured surface wetting is 50 and measured surface resistance is 2 milliohm on copper foil and 1 milliohm on the carbon layer.
