Product Overview

The ATOMFAIR® Single Layer Small-Volume Single-Window Replaceable-Membrane Photoelectrochemical Cell features a high-borosilicate glass body with a quartz window offering light transmittance greater than 95%. The quartz window is connected to the cell body via a locking ring assembly, ensuring reliable sealing while allowing quick and convenient replacement of the quartz window. The cell is designed for three-electrode systems with a single-compartment volume of 10mL. The cathode and anode chambers are isolated by an ion-exchange membrane (user-supplied), with chain-sealed connections facilitating easy membrane replacement. The working electrode and reference electrode are positioned in the same compartment to effectively reduce uncompensated resistance (iR drop). Electrode seals are achieved via compression fittings with O-rings. The cell body features an elevated floor design that effectively eliminates solution hiding effects. Extended-length electrodes are required and must be ordered separately. Please note: this cell does not offer a double-layer temperature-controlled version.
