Product Overview

The ATOMFAIR® Absolute Sealing PTFE H-Type Replaceable-Membrane Photoelectrochemical Cell features a PTFE body and is designed for three-electrode systems with volumes ranging from 30mL to 500mL, with custom capacities available upon request. Valves enable vacuum capability (below -100kPa) and mild pressurization (up to 0.5MPa). The cathode and anode chambers are isolated by an ion-exchange membrane (user-supplied), with pin-sealed connections facilitating easy membrane replacement. The working electrode and reference electrode are positioned in the same compartment to effectively reduce uncompensated resistance (iR drop). Absolute sealing of electrode connections is achieved via built-in jacks on the lid, enabling complete internal electrode integration. The cell includes a sub-surface sparger for gas purging (straight type for CO2 reduction, L-type for nitrogen reduction). The quartz window is removable and can be quickly replaced. Electrodes must be custom-ordered as matched sets with this cell model.
