Product Overview

The ATOMFAIR® Double-Layer Coating Corrosion Test Cell is constructed from high-borosilicate glass and designed for flat sheet working electrode applications. The cell enables simple, tool-free sample installation and easy removal for convenient surface treatment. It is specifically suited for electrochemical experiments prior to SEM (scanning electron microscopy) analysis, as well as coating corrosion performance testing. The cell bottom features a fixed-area circular opening (standard 1cm², with custom sizes available upon request) with O-ring sealing. Samples are securely sealed by tightening four screws on the top of the cell, pressing the sample against the O-ring. Electrical connection to the working electrode is achieved via copper tape adhered directly to the sample – the tape is easy to apply, simple to replace after corrosion, and ensures reliable conductivity. The double-layer version incorporates a thermostatic water bath jacket for precise temperature control during experiments.
