Product Overview

The ATOMFAIR® Double Layer Small-Volume H-Type Replaceable-Membrane Electrolytic Cell is constructed from high-borosilicate glass and designed as a semi-sealed, two-compartment system for three-electrode applications. The cathode and anode chambers are isolated by an ion-exchange membrane, with chain-sealed connections facilitating easy membrane replacement. The working electrode and reference electrode are positioned in the same compartment to effectively reduce uncompensated resistance (iR drop). The glass sealing features an internal threaded port secured by a PTFE cap with compression sealing. Electrode seals are achieved via compression fittings with O-rings. The single-layer body features an elevated floor design that effectively eliminates solution hiding effects. The double-layer version incorporates a thermostatic water bath jacket, enabling precise temperature control by circulating constant-temperature water through the interlayer during experiments. A sampling port is available as an optional add-on. Extended-length electrodes are required and must be ordered separately.
