Product Overview

The ATOMFAIR® Double-Layer Absolute Sealing 3H Single-Window Replaceable-Membrane Photoelectrochemical Cell features a high-borosilicate glass body with a quartz window (>95% transmittance) connected via a locking ring assembly for quick replacement. The reference electrode is separated from the working electrode and connected via a Luggin capillary with a tip aperture of less than 0.2mm, which can be filled with agar to reduce electrolyte flow rate. The reference electrode chamber uses internal threaded sealing to prevent electrolyte leakage due to the siphon effect. Designed for three-electrode systems (30mL–250mL, custom available), the cathode and anode chambers are separated by a user-supplied ion-exchange membrane. Absolute sealing is achieved via built-in electrode jacks on the lid. Valves enable vacuum below -100kPa. The double-layer version incorporates a thermostatic water bath jacket for temperature control. Electrodes must be custom-matched with this cell. Please note: the double-layer configuration cannot be pressurized due to the thinner inner glass wall.
