Product Overview

The ATOMFAIR® 2H Electrolytic Cell – H-Type Flow Cell is constructed from high-borosilicate glass and designed as a semi-sealed, two-compartment flow system for three-electrode applications. The cathode and anode chambers are independent and can be adjusted in real-time based on experimental requirements. The cathode compartment features inlet and outlet ports for electrolyte flow; when flow is not required, the ports can be sealed with spare screws. The L-type salt bridge inserts laterally from the side, allowing convenient adjustment of the distance between the salt bridge and the working electrode (approaching zero distance), with a fixation device to prevent shaking while maintaining adjustability. The cell employs fluororubber compression seals for reliable leak-proof performance. The cathode lid is equipped with gas inlet and outlet channels – the inlet features a settled design that delivers gas directly into the solution, while the outlet uses quick-connect fittings for enhanced sealing. The working electrode accommodates 6mm diameter rod-type electrodes. The counter electrode is a platinum mesh electrode positioned perpendicular to the electrode rod, manufactured from 99.99% platinum. The anode features a two-step dimensional transition sealing design that balances sealing integrity with ease of installation. At 2A current, the cell voltage is less than 10V. The salt bridge and ion pump feature quick-release design for convenient lid removal and installation.
