Product Overview

The ATOMFAIR® Single-Layer Relative Sealing 2H Replaceable-Membrane Electrolytic Cell is constructed from high-borosilicate glass and designed as a semi-sealed, two-compartment system for three-electrode applications. The cathode and anode chambers are isolated by an ion-exchange membrane (user-supplied), with chain-sealed connections facilitating easy membrane replacement. The working electrode and reference electrode are positioned in the same compartment to effectively reduce uncompensated resistance (iR drop). The glass sealing features an external threaded port with a 360° rotatable PTFE inner core for precise electrode alignment, secured by a POM outer cap. Electrode seals are achieved via compression fittings with O-rings on the PTFE plug. The cell includes a sub-surface sparger for gas purging (straight type for CO2 reduction, L-type for nitrogen reduction). The single-layer body features an elevated floor design that effectively eliminates solution hiding effects. A sampling port is available as an optional add-on. Extended-length electrodes are required and must be ordered separately.
