N,N’-Bis(3-pyridinecarbonyl)naphthalene diimide is a π-conjugated aromatic diimide with a naphthalene diimide (NDI) core and 3-pyridinecarbonyl groups on imide nitrogens. The rigid NDI skeleton enables good electron delocalization and charge transport, while pyridine rings provide metal coordination sites. It is a key building block for organic electronics (e.g., OFET active layers) and MOFs (via coordinating with Cd²⁺/Zn²⁺).
