The ATOMFAIR® Single-Layer Small-Volume Single-Window Replaceable-Membrane Photoelectrochemical Cell with Sampling Port features a high-borosilicate glass body with a quartz window offering light transmittance greater than 95%. The quartz window is connected to the cell body via a locking ring assembly, ensuring reliable sealing while allowing quick and convenient replacement of the quartz window. The cell is designed for three-electrode systems with a single-compartment volume of 10mL. The cathode and anode chambers are isolated by an ion-exchange membrane (user-supplied), with chain-sealed connections facilitating easy membrane replacement. The working electrode and reference electrode are positioned in the same compartment to effectively reduce uncompensated resistance (iR drop). Absolute sealing of electrode connections is achieved via built-in jacks on the PTFE lid, enabling complete internal electrode integration. The cell body features an elevated floor design that effectively eliminates solution hiding effects. An integrated sampling port enables convenient sample extraction during experiments without compromising system integrity. Electrodes must be custom-ordered as matched sets with this cell model. Please note: this cell does not offer a double-layer temperature-controlled version. Standard configuration includes barbed hose connectors; PEEK quick-connect fittings are available as an upgrade.
