The ATOMFAIR® Graphite Rod Counter Electrode offers a cost-effective, chemically inert alternative to noble metal counter electrodes for routine electrochemical measurements. The electrode features a high-density graphite rod with a diameter of 6mm and two available exposed lengths: 75mm or 100mm. The graphite active region provides a large surface area with excellent electrical conductivity and broad electrochemical stability. The electrode is encased in a PTFE jacket that defines the exposed graphite region and protects the electrical connection. This design is particularly suitable for bulk electrolysis, large-scale cells, and applications where high currents are required but noble metal contamination must be avoided.
