Atmofair Zirconia Ceramics (ZrO₂ Ceramics, Research Grade)

Atmofair Zirconia Ceramics are new high-tech ceramic materials for fields such as materials science and high-temperature engineering, with excellent physical and chemical properties and structural performance, suitable for scientific research scenarios such as extreme environment experiments and precision device preparation.

1. Core Material Properties

As high-performance structural ceramics, their key properties support scientific research applications in multiple scenarios:

  • Extreme Environment Tolerance: Extremely high melting and boiling points, service temperature ≥1600℃, excellent temperature resistance and long service life;
  • Mechanical and Chemical Stability: High hardness with scratch and wear resistance; strong chemical stability, adaptable to complex medium environments;
  • Controllable Functional Properties: Insulating at room temperature and exhibiting excellent electrical conductivity in high-temperature environments, it is a composite ceramic with both structural and functional attributes;

2. Raw Material Composition

Adopting calcium-stabilized partially stabilized zirconia system, core components (mass ratio):

  • ZrO₂ content: 94%
  • Magnesium oxide: 2.5%
  • Calcium oxide: 2.00%
  • Yttrium oxide: 1.5%

3. Scientific Research Application Scenarios

  • High-Temperature Material Testing: Used as carrying components and reaction chamber components for high-temperature experiments, adaptable to extreme temperature environments ≥1600℃;
  • Functional Device R&D: Utilizing the characteristic of “insulating at room temperature – conductive at high temperature”, it can be used to prepare prototypes of temperature-responsive electronic devices;
  • Wear-Resistant Structural Component Preparation: Used as control samples for precision wear experiments or substrate materials for wear-resistant components under extreme working conditions.
